Nicole Stott
Astronaut
Nicole Stott is a former NASA astronaut, aquanaut, artist, and author who has flown on both the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station (ISS), spending 104 days in space and performing a spacewalk. She is the first person to paint a watercolor in space, now displayed at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Nicole is the founder of the Space for Art Foundation, which unites space, science, and art to inspire children worldwide. Through her book Back to Earth and global speaking engagements, she shares lessons from space about sustainability, cooperation, and protecting our home planet.
